Scholarships

The Hellenic University Club of New York (HUC) was founded in 1918 by a group of university graduates from Greece, under the leadership of Dr. George Papanicolaou, to foster and promote fellowship, friendship, and solidarity among members of Hellenic ancestry. In subsequent years, the organization expanded its purpose to include the establishment of scholarship and grant programs for deserving high school seniors and graduate students. We are proud to have awarded over $350,000 in scholarships to deserving Greek American scholars.

HUC is pleased to announce the continuation of its Undergraduate Scholarship Program to support and encourage high school seniors entering college in the 2023 – 2024 academic year. The scholarship awards are offered in support of deserving Greek American students who have exemplified high scholastic achievement. The Organization will offer a total of three (3) awards of $2,000 each, based on academic achievement and financial need.
