The Hellenic University Club of New York is a cultural and educational organization whose members are college graduates of Hellenic heritage representing a wide range of professions.
The Hellenic University Club was founded in 1918 by a group of university graduates of Greek descent, under the leadership of Dr. George N. Papanicolaou.
The aims of the Club, as established by the founders, are to create a stimulating venue for members to Socialize and Exchange Ideas, and to one day create a Hellenic Cultural Center. Over the years our mission has expanded to award scholarships to deserving students of Greek descent.
